Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The E1A protein, derived from the adenovirus, has been a focal point of molecular biology research due to its multifunctional role in cell regulation and oncogenesis. Discovered in the early 1980s, E1A is crucial for viral replication, acting as an early viral gene product that initiates the transcription of other viral genes. However, its significance extends beyond viral biology; E1A can also interact with various cellular proteins, including tumor suppressors like pRb and p53. These interactions disrupt normal cell cycle regulation and promote cell proliferation, which has profound implications in cancer research. Consequently, E1A serves as a valuable tool for understanding the mechanisms of cell cycle control and the transformation of normal cells into cancerous ones. Its ability to modulate key signaling pathways has led to studies exploring potential therapeutic applications, including gene therapy and cancer treatment strategies. Researchers are particularly interested in the mechanisms by which E1A resets cellular pathways, making it a promising target for developing innovative treatments. This dual role of E1A, as both a viral component and a critical player in cellular processes, highlights its importance in virology and cancer biology, driving ongoing investigations into its molecular functions and potential as a therapeutic agent.
