Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NCLN, or Nucleolin, is a multifunctional protein widely distributed in the nucleus and cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells, playing critical roles in various cellular processes, including ribosome biogenesis, cell proliferation, and stress response. The study of NCLN-derived recombinant proteins has gained traction due to their potential implications in cancer research and therapeutic development. Abnormal expression levels of NCLN have been associated with several malignancies, making it a target of interest for understanding tumorigenesis and identifying novel diagnostic markers. Furthermore, NCLN's involvement in the interplay between signaling pathways, RNA metabolism, and cellular stress responses highlights its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research into the structural and functional characteristics of NCLN, particularly its interaction with nucleic acids and other proteins, is vital for elucidating its roles in cellular mechanisms. Recombinant NCLN proteins are being developed to explore their functional properties and therapeutic applications, including their potential use as drug delivery systems or anti-cancer agents. This ongoing research aims to leverage the unique features of NCLN to design innovative biomolecular tools and therapeutic strategies, ultimately contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment and understanding of cellular dynamics.
