Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-1 receptor antagonist (IL1RA) is a critical protein that plays a key role in the modulation of inflammatory responses. It functions by inhibiting the effects of interleukin-1 (IL-1), a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in various inflammatory diseases. Elevated levels of IL-1 can lead to chronic inflammation and have been linked to several conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic syndromes. Given its regulatory role, IL1RA has garnered significant attention in therapeutic research, particularly for developing treatments aimed at reducing inflammation and improving patient outcomes in relevant diseases. The recombinant form of IL1RA has been explored for its potential as a therapeutic agent, showcasing anti-inflammatory effects and beneficial outcomes in clinical trials. The production of recombinant IL1RA allows for controlled and scalable manufacturing, enabling researchers to assess its efficacy in various preclinical and clinical settings. Advances in genetic engineering have facilitated the optimization of IL1RA production in host cells, ensuring high yields and biological activity. As research progresses, understanding the precise mechanisms by which IL1RA exerts its effects can provide deeper insights into its therapeutic potential and pave the way for novel treatment strategies targeting inflammatory diseases.
