Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB6A is a member of the RAS superfamily of small GTPases that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including intracellular trafficking, mitotic spindle assembly, and Golgi organization. Given its involvement in these essential cellular functions, RAB6A has garnered significant attention in research related to cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. The protein is primarily localized in the Golgi apparatus and is known to regulate the transport of vesicles between the Golgi and the endoplasmic reticulum, making it vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Abnormalities in RAB6A expression or function have been implicated in the progression of several cancers, where its overexpression is associated with enhanced cell proliferation and metastasis. Additionally, studies suggest that RAB6A's interactions with other proteins may influence the dynamics of the cytoskeleton, affecting cell shape and movement. As a result, robust research efforts have focused on the characterization of RAB6A and its signaling pathways, as well as the development of recombinant RAB6A proteins for use in functional assays. These recombinant proteins facilitate the study of RAB6A's role in vitro and in vivo, enabling researchers to explore therapeutic strategies targeting its pathways. Understanding RAB6A's mechanisms can provide insights into its functions and potential implications in diseases, thereby opening avenues for novel interventions and treatment options.
