Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB4A is a member of the RAB family of small GTPases, which play crucial roles in intracellular trafficking and membrane dynamics. This protein is primarily involved in the recycling of endosomal compartments, thus facilitating the transport of various molecules within cells. Research has shown that RAB4A is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and proper signaling pathways, particularly in the context of neurotransmitter release and receptor recycling in neurons. Dysregulation of RAB4A has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic strategies. The production of recombinant RAB4A protein allows for detailed studies on its structure, function, and interactions within cellular processes. By using recombinant technology, researchers can obtain large quantities of RAB4A for biochemical assays, structural analyses, and potential drug development. Understanding RAB4A's functional mechanisms can provide insights into cellular transport pathways and their implications in health and disease, further highlighting the importance of this protein in biomedical research.
