Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TJP3, or Tight Junction Protein 3, plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and function of tight junctions, which are essential for the paracellular barrier in epithelial and endothelial tissues. Disruptions in tight junctions are implicated in various pathological conditions, including inflammatory diseases, cancer metastasis, and neurodegenerative disorders. Research on TJP3 is particularly pertinent given its involvement in cellular signaling pathways and interactions with other junctional proteins, which are fundamental to cell adhesion and tissue homeostasis. The expression and localization of TJP3 are tightly regulated, yet its precise mechanisms of action remain poorly understood. Consequently, recombinant TJP3 protein studies have emerged as a valuable tool for elucidating its structural and functional properties. By producing TJP3 through recombinant DNA technology, scientists can investigate its interactions with other proteins, assess its role in junction formation, and explore how its dysregulation contributes to disease progression. Additionally, understanding TJP3's role in tight junction dynamics may provide new insights into therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring barrier function in diseased tissues. As such, the study of TJP3 through recombinant protein approaches holds significant promise for advancing our knowledge of cell biology and developing interventions for tight junction-related disorders.
