Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB13 is a member of the RAB family of small GTPases, which play a crucial role in various cellular processes, including intracellular trafficking, membrane transport, and cell signaling. Recent studies have highlighted RAB13's significant involvement in epithelial cell function, particularly in regulating tight junctions and contributing to cell polarity. Dysregulation of RAB13 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis and inflammatory diseases, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, RAB13 is involved in the endocytic pathway and has been shown to mediate the recycling of membrane proteins, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. The production and characterization of recombinant RAB13 proteins allow researchers to study its biochemical properties, interactions with effector proteins, and downstream signaling pathways, providing valuable insights into its functional mechanisms. Understanding RAB13's role in cellular dynamics can lead to the identification of novel drug targets and therapeutic strategies for diseases where RAB13 dysregulation is a contributing factor. The ongoing research aims to elucidate the intricate network of interactions involving RAB13, making it a focal point for investigations into cellular transport mechanisms and their implications for health and disease.
