Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB10, a member of the RAB family of small GTPases, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in the regulation of membrane trafficking and organelle dynamics. As a key player in endosomal and vesicular transport, RAB10 has been implicated in various cellular functions, including nutrient uptake, cellular signaling, and exocytosis. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of RAB10 in several physiological and pathological contexts, particularly in the development of neurodegenerative diseases and cancers. Research has focused on its role in the regulation of insulin secretion in pancreatic beta cells and its involvement in the transport of glucose transporter proteins, demonstrating its vital contribution to metabolic processes. Additionally, RAB10's interactions with various effector proteins and its regulatory mechanisms through GTP-GDP cycling are areas of active investigation. The recombinant expression and characterization of RAB10 provide essential insights into its function and regulatory pathways, advancing our understanding of its biological roles. Understanding RAB10's specific functions can offer new perspectives on therapeutic strategies targeting membrane trafficking pathways in diseases where RAB10 is implicated, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. As the research progresses, elucidating the detailed molecular mechanisms and pathways associated with RAB10 will contribute significantly to our overall understanding of intracellular transport and its implications in health and disease.
