稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPHK2 (Sphingosine Kinase 2) is a key enzyme involved in sphingolipid metabolism, specifically in the phosphorylation of sphingosine to produce sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a bioactive lipid mediator that plays critical roles in various cellular processes including proliferation, survival, migration, and inflammation. Abnormal regulation of SPHK2 and altered levels of S1P have been implicated in a variety of diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. Research has shown that SPHK2 can influence tumor progression and metastasis, making it a potential therapeutic target. The recombinant production of SPHK2 protein enables detailed studies of its enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and structural properties, contributing to the understanding of its function in health and disease. Moreover, the availability of purified SPHK2 protein is essential for high-throughput screening of small molecules that may act as inhibitors or modulators of its activity. Thus, the study of SPHK2 recombinant protein not only enhances our knowledge of sphingolipid signaling pathways but also holds promise for the development of new therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating SPHK2 activity in various pathological contexts.
