Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRSS7, also known as serine protease 7, is a member of the serine protease family that plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including digestion, immune response, and cellular signaling. This enzyme is predominantly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas, where it is involved in protein processing and the activation of other enzymes. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of PRSS7 in pathological conditions such as inflammatory diseases, cancer, and pancreatitis, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of PRSS7 allows for detailed investigations into its structure-function relationship, enzymatic activity, and interaction with various substrates and inhibitors. Such research is essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying its biological roles and potential implications in disease. Furthermore, generating recombinant PRSS7 can facilitate the development of specific inhibitors that may serve as therapeutic agents in diseases associated with dysregulated protease activity. Overall, the study of recombinant PRSS7 is pivotal for elucidating its functional roles and therapeutic potential in health and disease.
