Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GBP7 (Guanylate Binding Protein 7) is a member of the guanylate-binding protein family, which plays a pivotal role in the host's immune response against various pathogens. These proteins are known for their GTPase activity and are involved in the regulation of numerous processes, including inflammation and cell survival. GBP7 has garnered attention within the scientific community due to its potential role in anti-viral immunity and its association with several diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer. Research indicates that GBP7 can modulate immune responses by enhancing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and promoting the activation of immune cells, thus playing an essential part in the defense mechanisms of the host. Studies have shown that GBP7 is induced by the activation of certain immune pathways, particularly in response to interferons, suggesting its involvement in the antiviral response. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying GBP7's function could unlock new therapeutic avenues for diseases linked to immune dysregulation. Given the escalating need for innovative treatments for viral infections and immune-related disorders, GBP7 represents a promising target for future research. This focus on GBP7’s structure and function aims to unravel its role more intricately and explore its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target for enhancing immune responses. As research continues, the implications of GBP7 in both innate and adaptive immunity highlight its significance in developing novel immunotherapies and vaccines.
