Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP2R1A encodes a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2 (PP2A), a critical serine/threonine phosphatase involved in numerous cellular processes, including cell growth, division, and apoptosis. The dysregulation of PP2A has been implicated in various cancers and neurodegenerative diseases, making PPP2R1A a significant focus of research. Mutations in PPP2R1A have been identified in several types of tumors, such as glioblastomas and endometrial cancers, leading to the hypothesis that these alterations may contribute to tumorigenesis by promoting uncontrolled cell proliferation and survival. Understanding the structure and function of PPP2R1A, especially its role in modulating PP2A activity, is critical for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases. The development of recombinant PPP2R1A protein provides a useful tool for investigating its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular proteins, and its influence on PP2A activity. Researchers are leveraging this recombinant protein to study its potential as a therapeutic target, aiming to restore normal PP2A function in cancer cells and provide insights into novel treatment strategies for diseases linked to PPP2R1A mutations. This research highlights the importance of PPP2R1A in cell signaling pathways and its potential role in cancer therapeutics, offering hope for advancements in precision medicine and targeted therapies.
