Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GTF2A2, or General Transcription Factor II A, is a crucial protein involved in the initiation of gene transcription by serving as a part of the pre-initiation complex that recruits RNA polymerase II to DNA promoters. Research on GTF2A2 has gained significance due to its role in regulating gene expression, which is fundamental in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and response to environmental stimuli. Defects in GTF2A2 have been implicated in several disorders, including cancer and genetic diseases, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of its function and regulation. Recombinant GTF2A2 proteins have been produced for biochemical studies to elucidate its mechanisms of action and interactions with other transcription factors and regulatory elements. These studies are essential not only for basic biological research but also for potential therapeutic applications, where modulating GTF2A2 activity could offer novel strategies in treating transcription-related diseases. The continued exploration of GTF2A2 through recombinant protein studies is pivotal for advancing our understanding of transcriptional regulation and its implications in health and disease.
