Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLAC8, or Placenta-specific 8, is a protein that has gained significant attention in recent years due to its involvement in various biological processes and its potential role in disease pathology. Initially identified for its expression in the placenta, research has expanded to explore its functions in immune response, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Studies suggest that PLAC8 may play a crucial role in regulating inflammation and tissue repair, making it a compelling target for understanding conditions such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases. Notably, aberrant expression of PLAC8 has been associated with tumor progression and metastasis, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Moreover, the protein's implications in metabolic regulation and cellular stress response further underscore its relevance in health and disease. As researchers delve deeper into PLAC8's molecular mechanisms and interactions, the hope is to uncover therapeutic strategies that leverage its properties. The ongoing investigation of PLAC8 not only enhances our understanding of its fundamental biological roles but also paves the way for innovative approaches to disease management and treatment.
