Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TOPBP1 (Topoisomerase II Binding Protein 1) is a crucial protein involved in the regulation of DNA repair, replication, and cell cycle control. It plays a vital role in the cellular response to DNA damage, particularly in processes such as homologous recombination and checkpoint signaling. Given its essential functions, aberrations in TOPBP1 have been implicated in various cancers and affect the efficacy of certain chemotherapeutic agents. The protein is known to interact with several key players in the DNA damage response, including ATR (Ataxia Telangiectasia and Rad3 related), contributing to the activation of DNA damage checkpoints. This has spurred interest in the study of TOPBP1 as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, as well as a target for therapeutic intervention. The production of recombinant TOPBP1 protein is crucial for elucidating its biochemical properties and molecular interactions, facilitating structure-function studies, and aiding in the development of inhibitors or modulators that could enhance cancer treatment strategies. Research on TOPBP1's role in tumor biology and its mechanistic pathways is ongoing, underscoring its significance in understanding cancer development and treatment resistance. Exploring TOPBP1 in-depth will provide valuable insights into DNA repair mechanisms and highlight its potential as a cellular target in cancer therapy.
