Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
METT10D is a member of the Methyltransferase family, recognized for its role in the post-translational modification of proteins through methylation, a critical process that influences various cellular functions and signal transduction pathways. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in modulating gene expression and regulating cellular responses, making it an intriguing target for understanding the mechanisms of gene regulation and potential therapeutic interventions. The research surrounding METT10D focuses on elucidating its structure-function relationship, particularly its enzymatic activity and substrate specificity, to determine how it contributes to cellular homeostasis and pathology. Notably, alterations in the expression or activity of methyltransferases, including METT10D, have been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Therefore, investigating METT10D through recombinant protein techniques offers promising insights into its biological roles and could pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity for disease intervention. As such, METT10D stands at the intersection of protein chemistry, molecular biology, and therapeutic development, making it a compelling subject of ongoing research in biological and medical sciences.
