Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MED25, a subunit of the Mediator complex, plays a pivotal role in the regulation of gene expression by serving as a critical conduit between transcriptional activators and the RNA polymerase II machinery. Recent research has highlighted its involvement in various cellular processes, including development, stress response, and signal transduction. Particularly, MED25 has been implicated in the transcriptional regulation of genes related to inflammation and cancer progression, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The study of MED25's structure and function has been advanced through the generation of recombinant protein, enabling detailed investigations into its mechanisms of action. By utilizing techniques such as crystallography and mutagenesis, researchers aim to decipher the molecular interactions that underlie MED25's role in gene regulation. Furthermore, understanding how MED25 interacts with various transcription factors can shed light on the broader regulatory networks that govern cell fate and response. This research not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of transcriptional regulation but also opens avenues for developing strategies to modulate MED25 activity in disease contexts. As ongoing studies explore its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target, the comprehensive characterization of MED25 through recombinant protein approaches is essential for translating basic findings into clinical applications.
