Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MED24, a key component of the Mediator complex, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression by serving as a bridge between transcription factors and RNA polymerase II. As a mediator of diverse signaling pathways, MED24 is implicated in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, development, and response to environmental stimuli. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the transcriptional regulation of genes associated with inflammation and cancer, positioning MED24 as a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have focused on the recombinant expression and purification of MED24 to elucidate its structural and functional properties. Understanding the precise mechanisms by which MED24 interacts with other proteins and transcriptional machinery can shed light on its role in disease states and provide insights for the development of novel treatments. Moreover, recombinant MED24 can serve as a valuable tool for biochemical assays, aiding in the discovery of small molecules or peptides that could modulate its function. This line of research is particularly significant given the increasing recognition of the Mediator complex's involvement in transcriptional dysregulation associated with various pathologies, highlighting the need for detailed studies on MED24 and its potential applications in medicine.
