Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VARS, or valyl-tRNA synthetase, is a key enzyme that facilitates the attachment of the amino acid valine to its corresponding transfer RNA (tRNA), thereby playing a crucial role in protein synthesis. The study of VARS has gained significant attention in recent years due to its involvement in various cellular processes and its implications in several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain types of cancer. Abnormal VARS activity has been linked to alterations in protein translation fidelity, which can lead to the production of misfolded proteins and subsequent cellular dysfunction. Researchers are particularly interested in the structural and functional characterization of VARS, as understanding its mechanism could provide insights into its role in disease onset and progression. Additionally, VARS is part of a larger family of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, making it a valuable model for studying the evolution of these enzymes and their regulatory pathways. Investigating VARS's interactions with other cellular partners and the impact of post-translational modifications on its activity may reveal novel therapeutic targets, highlighting the enzyme's potential as a modulator in medical science.
