Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OVGP1 (Oviductal Glycoprotein 1) is a glycoprotein primarily expressed in the epithelial cells of the oviduct and plays a crucial role in reproductive biology. Its significance has been underscored by studies linking OVGP1 to processes such as egg transport, fertilization, and embryo development. Understanding the function and mechanism of OVGP1 is essential for advancing reproductive technologies and enhancing fertility treatments. Research has shown that OVGP1 is involved in modulating the sperm-egg interaction, potentially influencing fertilization success rates. Additionally, it serves as a biomarker for reproductive health and can provide insights into conditions affecting fertility. By investigating OVGP1’s structure and its interactions within the reproductive tract, scientists aim to unravel its specific roles in reproductive physiology and pathology. The exploration of OVGP1 also holds promise for developing novel therapeutic strategies to address infertility and improve outcomes in assisted reproductive technologies. Overall, OVGP1 represents a vital focus in reproductive research, with implications not only for basic biology but also for clinical applications in reproductive health.
