Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDCD4 (Programmed cell death 4) is a critical tumor suppressor protein that plays a significant role in regulating cellular processes such as apoptosis, cell proliferation, and gene expression. It is frequently downregulated in various cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Research on PDCD4 has gained attention due to its involvement in inhibiting oncogenic pathways and promoting the expression of pro-apoptotic factors. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of PDCD4 in its active form, facilitating in-depth studies of its functional mechanisms and interactions within cellular contexts. Investigations into PDCD4 recombinant protein focus on elucidating its role in cancer biology, understanding its interactions with other proteins, and exploring its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic agent. This growing interest is driven by the need to identify novel strategies for cancer treatment and the potential of PDCD4 to restore apoptotic pathways in tumor cells. Consequently, PDCD4 and its recombinant form are at the forefront of biomedical research, with implications not only for cancer biology but also for broader applications in understanding cell death and survival mechanisms.
