Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TMEFF2, or Transmembrane Protein with EGF-like and Two Follistatin-like Domains 2, is a membrane-bound protein that has garnered attention due to its potential roles in various pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Initially identified for its expression in the brain and involvement in cell signaling pathways, TMEFF2 is believed to modulate important cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, and differentiation. Research has indicated that TMEFF2 may function as a tumor suppressor in certain malignancies, while in others, it may promote tumor growth, thus presenting a complex role in oncology. Moreover, its interactions with growth factors and other signaling molecules suggest that it could serve as a valuable biomarker for disease progression and response to therapies. The production of recombinant TMEFF2 protein allows for in-depth studies of its structure-function relationships, which are essential to elucidate its biological activities and therapeutic potentials. Characterizing this protein can help clarify its dual roles in different contexts and aid in the development of targeted treatments. Continued exploration of TMEFF2, through recombinant technologies, holds promise for understanding its mechanistic contributions to health and disease, paving the way for innovative clinical applications.
