Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEACAM5 (Carcinoembryonic Antigen-Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 5) is a member of the CEACAM family of glycoproteins and plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling processes. Its expression is often upregulated in various types of cancers, particularly colorectal cancer, making it a significant biomarker for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The study of CEACAM5 recombinant proteins has gained momentum due to their potential in cancer immunotherapy, as they can serve as targets for antibody-based treatments. Understanding the structure and function of CEACAM5 is essential for developing novel therapeutics that can effectively target cancerous cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. Additionally, recombinant CEACAM5 proteins can be used to create diagnostic tools, improving early detection and enabling personalized treatment strategies. Research into the production and modification of CEACAM5 proteins explores their roles in tumor microenvironments and interactions with immune cells, paving the way for innovative cancer treatment approaches that utilize the immune system's potential to combat malignancies. Therefore, the comprehensive investigation of CEACAM5 recombinant proteins is vital for advancing cancer research and improving patient outcomes.
