Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MASTL (Microtubule Associated Serine/Threonine Kinase Like) is a kinase that has gained attention for its essential role in regulating cell cycle progression and mitotic events, particularly in the context of cancer biology. Studies have shown that MASTL is involved in the inhibition of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1), which is crucial for dephosphorylating key proteins that promote the transition from metaphase to anaphase during cell division. Overexpression of MASTL has been associated with various malignancies, suggesting it could serve as a potential biomarker for cancer progression. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying MASTL's function could contribute to novel therapeutic strategies aimed at targeting aberrant cell division in cancer cells. The production and characterization of recombinant MASTL protein is vital for performing biochemical assays, including substrate phosphorylation studies and inhibitor screening. This research aims to elucidate the precise role of MASTL in mitotic regulation and its implications for cancer treatment, thereby advancing our knowledge of its potential as a therapeutic target in oncology.
