  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MAP3K5, also known as mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 5, is a vital component of the MAPK signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, apoptosis, and stress response. The study of MAP3K5 is particularly significant due to its involvement in the regulation of cellular responses to inflammatory stimuli and its potential implications in diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. Recent research has highlighted that MAP3K5 acts as a key regulator of apoptosis and can influence the activity of downstream MAPK pathways, including JNK and p38 MAPK. As a result, the manipulation of MAP3K5 activity has garnered interest as a therapeutic strategy for managing various pathologies. Furthermore, the characterization of MAP3K5 as a protein can provide insights into its enzymatic functions, interaction partners, and regulatory mechanisms. The development of recombinant MAP3K5 proteins facilitates in-depth biochemical studies, enabling researchers to explore its structure-function relationships and identify potential drug targets. Overall, ongoing investigations into MAP3K5 recombination and functionality not only deepen our understanding of cellular signaling but also pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches in treating diseases linked to aberrant MAPK signaling.
