稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of OMG (Oligodendrocyte Myelin Glycoprotein) recombinant protein has garnered significant attention in the field of neurobiology due to its pivotal role in the central nervous system, particularly concerning myelin formation and repair. OMG is primarily expressed by oligodendrocytes and is crucial for the maintenance of myelin sheaths that insulate nerve fibers, enabling efficient signal transmission. Research has indicated that OMG is implicated in autoimmune demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis, where it may elicit autoantibody responses leading to myelin degradation. Consequently, the production of recombinant OMG protein has become a focus for investigators aiming to understand its structure, function, and potential therapeutic applications. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce large quantities of OMG protein for functional assays, epitope mapping, and the development of diagnostic tools. Moreover, the characterization of this protein aids in elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying oligodendrocyte biology and the demyelination process. As the field advances, recombinant OMG protein could serve as a promising candidate for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at remyelination and neuroprotection in demyelinating disorders. Overall, the exploration of OMG and its recombinant forms holds great potential for enhancing our understanding of central nervous system pathologies and developing effective interventions.
