Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NUDT5 is a member of the Nudix hydrolase family, which is involved in the hydrolysis of various nucleotide derivatives, playing a crucial role in cellular nucleotide metabolism and signaling pathways. The primary interest in NUDT5 arises from its ability to hydrolyze NADH and NADPH, which are essential cofactors in numerous redox reactions, thereby influencing cell proliferation and stress responses. Previous studies have suggested that NUDT5 may participate in the regulation of cellular energy status and potentially modulate apoptosis and cancer progression. With the increasing prevalence of metabolic disorders and cancer, understanding the structural and functional properties of NUDT5 could unveil new therapeutic targets. Additionally, aberrant expression of NUDT5 has been linked to various pathological conditions, highlighting the necessity for in-depth studies on its enzymatic mechanisms and regulation. The exploration of NUDT5’s role in different biological contexts may provide essential insights into its potential as a biomarker or a target for drug development. Therefore, the investigation of recombinant NUDT5 not only enhances our knowledge of nucleotide metabolism but also paves the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at metabolic diseases and cancer treatment.
