Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on recombinant thyroid hormone receptor beta (THRb) proteins has gained significant importance in understanding the intricate roles of thyroid hormones in metabolism, development, and various physiological processes. THRb, one of the major isoforms of thyroid hormone receptors, is a transcription factor that mediates the actions of thyroid hormones, particularly triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4), by regulating gene expression. Dysregulation of THRb has been implicated in various disorders, including obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and thyroid-related cancers. The production of recombinant THRb proteins allows for detailed biophysical and biochemical studies, facilitating the exploration of their structural properties, interaction with ligands, and functional dynamics in cellular contexts. This research not only aids in elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying thyroid hormone signaling but also paves the way for developing targeted therapies for THRb-related diseases. By utilizing techniques like site-directed mutagenesis, crystallography, and high-throughput screening, scientists aim to enhance the understanding of THRb's role in health and disease, potentially leading to novel pharmacological approaches that can modulate its activity for therapeutic benefit. Furthermore, recombinant THRb proteins serve as valuable tools for drug discovery and validation, contributing to the advancement of precision medicine in endocrinology. As the field continues to evolve, ongoing investigations into THRb and its recombinant forms stand poised to unveil new dimensions of thyroid biology and offer insights into effective interventions for thyroid dysfunctions.
