Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NELFE (Negative Elongation Factor E) is a multi-subunit protein complex that plays a significant role in regulating transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II. Research into NELFE has gained momentum due to its critical involvement in various cellular processes, including transcription regulation, RNA processing, and co-transcriptional events. Dysregulation of NELFE function has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, highlighting the importance of understanding its molecular mechanisms. Studies have shown that NELFE interacts with other transcription factors and interacts with RNA to modulate gene expression, thereby influencing cell proliferation and differentiation. The characterization and reconstitution of NELFE in vitro are essential for elucidating its structure-function relationships and its dynamics during transcription. By exploring NELFE's interactions and regulatory mechanisms, researchers aim to uncover potential therapeutic targets and strategies to manipulate transcriptional control pathways in disease contexts, making the study of NELFE a pivotal focus in molecular biology and translational research.
