Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NEK7, a member of the NIMA-related kinase (NEK) family, is primarily known for its role in regulating cell division and maintaining genomic stability. Recent studies have linked NEK7 to processes such as mitosis, centrosome function, and the regulation of various signaling pathways, making it a crucial target for understanding cancer biology and cell cycle regulation. Its involvement in the formation and function of the NLRP3 inflammasome—a protein complex pivotal in inflammatory responses—further highlights its significance in disease contexts, including autoimmune disorders and inflammatory diseases. The expression and activity of NEK7 are carefully modulated during different cellular phases, and its dysregulation has been associated with tumorigenesis. Consequently, recombinant NEK7 protein has become a focal point for research aimed at elucidating its molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications. By producing and characterizing recombinant NEK7, researchers aim to explore its kinase activity, identify binding partners, and determine its precise role within the cell cycle and inflammatory responses. This foundational research not only enhances our understanding of NEK7's biological functions but also opens new avenues for drug development targeting NEK7-related pathways in cancer and inflammatory diseases. Thus, the study of recombinant NEK7 protein is pivotal in advancing therapeutic strategies and provides critical insights into its function as a regulator of cellular processes.
