Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRIT3 (Leucine-rich repeat integral membrane protein 3) is a gene that encodes a protein characterized by leucine-rich repeat motifs, suggesting a role in protein-protein interactions and cellular signaling. Research has indicated that LRIT3 is involved in various physiological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and embryonic development. Its expression patterns are observed in multiple tissues, particularly in the eye, implying a potential role in visual processes. Abnormalities in LRIT3 expression have been linked to various diseases, including retinal disorders, highlighting its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and functionality. The study of recombinant LRIT3 protein aims to elucidate its biological functions, mechanisms of action, and potential implications in disease models. Producing LRIT3 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to investigate its structural properties, interaction with other proteins, and downstream signaling pathways, thereby providing insights into its role in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. Understanding LRIT3's molecular functions could reveal new therapeutic targets for conditions associated with its dysregulation, making it a vital area of study in molecular and cellular biology.
