Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HNF1α (Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 1 Alpha) is a pivotal transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of genes involved in glucose metabolism, liver function, and the development of the pancreas. Mutations in the HNF1A gene are linked to various forms of maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY), specifically MODY3. Due to its significant involvement in metabolic disorders, HNF1α has become a subject of intense research interest. The study of recombinant HNF1α protein allows for a deeper understanding of its structural and functional characteristics, facilitating the exploration of how mutations affect its activity and, consequently, metabolic processes. By producing and analyzing HNF1α in the lab, researchers can investigate its interactions with target genes and other proteins, as well as assess the effects of various post-translational modifications. This knowledge is vital for developing targeted therapies for diabetes and understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying insulin regulation and secretion. Additionally, recombinant HNF1α is invaluable for drug screening and therapeutic interventions designed to restore normal function in patients with HNF1A-related disorders. Overall, research on HNF1α not only enhances our comprehension of diabetes but also paves the way for innovative approaches in the treatment of metabolic diseases.
