Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The Ifi204 protein, also known as interferon-inducible protein 204, has garnered significant attention in immunology and molecular biology due to its role in the innate immune response. This protein belongs to the family of interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs), which are crucial for the body's defense against viral infections and other pathogens. Ifi204 is primarily expressed in immune cells, such as macrophages and dendritic cells, and plays a vital role in modulating inflammatory responses. Research has shown that Ifi204 can influence the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and enhance the ability of immune cells to detect and respond to viral infections. Additionally, its potential involvement in autoimmune diseases and cancer has prompted exploration of its mechanism of action and regulatory pathways. Given its critical function in the immune system, understanding the structure and function of Ifi204 could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for infectious diseases, inflammatory disorders, and cancer therapies. Furthermore, the study of Ifi204 also opens avenues for exploring the broader implications of ISGs in health and disease, making it a significant focus in contemporary biomedical research.
