Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LIN7A (Lin-7 homolog A) is a member of the Lin-7 family of proteins that play crucial roles in the regulation of synaptic signaling and cellular morphology. It is primarily involved in the organization of protein complexes at the plasma membrane, particularly in neuronal cells, where it facilitates the clustering of receptors and channels essential for synaptic transmission. Recent studies have highlighted LIN7A's importance in various neurological conditions, suggesting that dysregulation of this protein could contribute to neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive disorders. The development of recombinant LIN7A proteins has become a focal point for researchers aiming to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions with other synaptic components. By employing techniques such as protein expression in heterologous systems, researchers can generate high-purity LIN7A proteins, which serve as valuable tools for biophysical, biochemical, and structural studies. Understanding LIN7A's role in synaptic dynamics not only provides insights into fundamental neurobiology but also opens avenues for therapeutic interventions targeting synaptic dysfunction, thus enhancing our ability to address various neurological disorders. As a result, the study of LIN7A recombinant proteins is a burgeoning field, contributing to both basic research and potential clinical applications.
