Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LAPTM4A (lysosomal-associated protein transmembrane 4 alpha) is a protein that plays a significant role in cellular processes such as lysosomal function, membrane trafficking, and immune responses. Its involvement in various diseases, including cancer and infectious diseases, has garnered interest in understanding its mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications. LAPTM4A is known to modulate the endocytic pathway, influencing how cells uptake and process extracellular materials. Research has indicated that LAPTM4A may participate in the regulation of autophagy and has been associated with the response to pathogens, suggesting its importance in host defense. Furthermore, studies have reported that LAPTM4A can affect signaling pathways linked to cell proliferation and survival, raising questions about its role in tumorigenesis. The recombinant expression of LAPTM4A allows for detailed structural and functional analyses, facilitating investigations into its interactions with other proteins and cellular components. This has significant implications for drug discovery and the development of targeted therapies. Understanding the properties and functions of LAPTM4A at a molecular level can provide insights into its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target in various diseases, thereby advancing knowledge in the fields of cell biology and medical research.
