Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRTHB1, a member of the keratin family, encodes a type II cytokeratin predominantly expressed in the epidermis and hair follicles. As a component of the intermediate filament cytoskeleton, KRTHB1 plays a crucial role in maintaining cell integrity and tissue architecture. Its involvement in various skin conditions, particularly keratinization disorders and some forms of cancer, has prompted increased research interest. Understanding the structure and function of KRTHB1 is essential for elucidating its contribution to skin biology and pathology. Recent studies have highlighted its potential role in cellular differentiation and response to stress, indicating a complex regulatory framework governing its expression and function. Moreover, advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of KRTHB1 at a large scale for biochemical analyses, facilitating the exploration of its molecular interactions and post-translational modifications. This research not only enhances our understanding of keratin biology but also holds promise for therapeutic applications, such as developing targeted treatments for skin diseases and improving wound healing strategies.
