Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a crucial role in the immune response and is involved in various inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and sepsis. As a member of the interleukin-1 family, IL-1β is produced primarily by activated macrophages and has been shown to mediate fever, osteoclast activation, and the release of other inflammatory mediators. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of IL-1β in a controlled and effective manner for research and therapeutic purposes. The development of recombinant IL-1β has facilitated numerous studies aimed at elucidating its biological functions, signaling pathways, and interactions with other cytokines, thereby providing insights into the complex mechanisms underlying inflammation. Furthermore, therapeutic applications of recombinant IL-1β include the development of antagonists and inhibitors to mitigate excessive inflammatory responses, offering potential treatments for conditions characterized by chronic inflammation. Overall, the study of recombinant IL-1β is paramount not only for understanding its role in immune regulation and pathology but also for advancing strategies to target inflammatory diseases, highlighting its significant relevance in both basic and clinical research.
