Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC43A2, a member of the solute carrier family, is recognized for its function as a high-affinity transporter for amino acids and neurotransmitters, particularly in the context of facilitating the transport of essential nutrients across cellular membranes. Recent research has underscored its significance in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission and metabolic regulation. Dysregulation of SLC43A2 has been implicated in several diseases, such as neurological disorders and metabolic syndromes, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant expression and purification of SLC43A2 have become crucial for advancing our understanding of its structure-function relationships, as well as its interaction with other cellular components. By producing recombinant SLC43A2, researchers can perform detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses, elucidating the specific mechanisms by which this transporter operates within the cell. This research not only aids in the fundamental understanding of amino acid transport mechanisms but also opens avenues for therapeutic interventions that could ameliorate conditions associated with SLC43A2 dysfunction. Additionally, the availability of recombinant SLC43A2 facilitates high-throughput screening of potential drug candidates, fostering the development of novel pharmacological approaches targeting transport processes linked with this important protein. Overall, the study of SLC43A2 and its recombinant forms holds promise for advancing both basic scientific knowledge and potential clinical applications.
