Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on recombinant ADRB2 (beta-2 adrenergic receptor) proteins has garnered significant interest due to their critical role in various physiological processes and pathophysiological conditions. ADRB2 is a G-protein-coupled receptor that primarily mediates responses to catecholamines such as epinephrine and norepinephrine, influencing airway smooth muscle relaxation, cardiac function, and metabolic processes. Understanding the structure and function of ADRB2 is pivotal for developing targeted therapies for respiratory diseases like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as for cardiovascular disorders. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production of ADRB2 in various expression systems, allowing for detailed biophysical and pharmacological characterization. These studies have revealed the receptor's conformational dynamics and interaction with ligands, which are essential for elucidating signaling pathways. Furthermore, high-resolution structural data from techniques like X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy have opened new avenues for drug design, offering insights into how modifications can enhance receptor selectivity and efficacy. Overall, the exploration of recombinant ADRB2 proteins not only enhances our fundamental understanding of receptor biology but also holds the promise of refining therapeutic strategies in drug development.
