Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1B1 (ALDH1B1) is an enzyme that belongs to the ALDH family, playing a crucial role in the metabolism of endogenous and exogenous aldehydes by converting them into corresponding carboxylic acids. This process is essential for cellular detoxification and maintaining redox balance within the cell. ALDH1B1 has garnered attention due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including stem cell differentiation, cancer progression, and metabolism of retinoids and other biologically active compounds. Research has revealed that alterations in ALDH1B1 expression and activity can have significant implications in diseases such as liver dysfunction, several types of cancer, and neurological disorders. Moreover, the recombinant protein form of ALDH1B1 is valuable for studying its biochemical properties, understanding the substrate specificity, and uncovering its role in different metabolic pathways. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the expression and purification of ALDH1B1, enabling researchers to investigate its functional characteristics in vitro and in vivo. Such studies can provide insights into the enzyme's potential as a therapeutic target and biomarker for various diseases, paving the way for new strategies in disease management and personalized medicine. Overall, the research on recombinant ALDH1B1 protein holds promise for enhancing our understanding of its functional roles and therapeutic applications.
