Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAPK8, also known as c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 (JNK1), is a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It is activated by various stress signals, including cytokines, UV radiation, and growth factors, and contributes to the cellular response to environmental changes. Recombining MAPK8 protein provides a valuable approach to elucidate its functional mechanisms and its role in various physiological and pathological processes. Research has demonstrated that dysregulation of MAPK8 signaling is implicated in diverse conditions such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory disorders, making it a potential therapeutic target. By producing recombinant MAPK8 proteins, researchers can study its enzymatic activity, protein interactions, and structural properties in detail. Additionally, understanding the specific pathways and downstream targets of MAPK8 can provide insights into how cells adapt to stress and how these processes are altered in disease states. Overall, the study of recombinant MAPK8 proteins not only enhances our understanding of this critical signaling pathway but also paves the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at manipulating MAPK8 activity for potential clinical applications.
