Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLKBL4, a member of the human kallikrein gene family, has gained attention in recent years due to its potential implications in various physiological and pathological processes, particularly in cancer biology and hormonal regulation. Kallikreins are serine proteases known for their involvement in the proteolytic processing of protein substrates, and KLKBL4 is specifically expressed in various tissues, including breast and prostate tissues, suggesting a role in both normal and malignant cellular functions. Research indicates that KLKBL4 may contribute to tumor progression through effects on cell proliferation, invasion, and angiogenesis. Additionally, its expression levels could serve as potential biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Recent studies have focused on the characterization and functional analysis of KLKBL4, aiming to elucidate its precise mechanisms of action and interactions with other molecular pathways. Recombinant KLKBL4 proteins are being generated for experimental purposes, facilitating in vitro and in vivo studies to further understand its biological significance. Overall, the investigation of KLKBL4 not only enriches our understanding of the kallikrein family but also holds promise for novel therapeutic and diagnostic strategies in oncology.
