Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCGB2A1, also known as Secretoglobin family 2A member 1, is a protein encoded by the SCGB2A1 gene that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including immune response, inflammation, and respiratory function. Studies have indicated that SCGB2A1 is predominantly expressed in the epithelial cells of the airways and is involved in the secretion of mucus and modulation of airway inflammation. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several respiratory diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Given its significance in lung health, researchers have focused on the potential therapeutic applications of SCGB2A1, aiming to understand its structural characteristics and functional mechanisms through recombinant protein studies. The production of recombinant SCGB2A1 allows for detailed investigations into its interaction with other biomolecules and its role in disease pathology. Furthermore, it provides a platform for exploring its potential use as a biomarker or therapeutic target in respiratory diseases, thus holding promise for advancing treatments that could alleviate the burden of these conditions. As a result, ongoing research into SCGB2A1 recombinant protein is vital for uncovering new insights into its biological functions and therapeutic potential in respiratory health.
