Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLK3, also known as prostate-specific antigen (PSA), is a serine protease encoded by the KLK3 gene and primarily produced in the prostate gland. It has gained significant attention in biomedical research due to its pivotal role in prostate cancer diagnosis and management. Elevated levels of KLK3 in serum are commonly associated with prostate cancer, making it a key biomarker for disease detection and monitoring treatment responses. The study of recombinant KLK3 proteins has provided insights into its functional properties, including enzymatic activity and regulatory mechanisms, which are crucial for understanding its role in tumor progression and metastasis. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional dynamics of KLK3 has implications for therapeutic interventions, as it may serve as a target for novel treatments aimed at prostate cancer. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of KLK3 for various applications, including the development of more sensitive assays for early detection of prostate malignancies and potential therapeutic agents. Ongoing research into KLK3 not only enhances our understanding of prostate cancer biology but also facilitates improvements in diagnostic tools and treatment strategies, making it a focal point in the field of oncology.
