Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KDM5B, also known as lysine-specific demethylase 5B, is a member of the JmjC domain-containing family of enzymes that play crucial roles in histone demethylation, a key process in epigenetic regulation of gene expression. This protein specifically demethylates di- and tri-methylated lysine 4 on histone H3 (H3K4me2/3), thereby influencing chromatin structure and accessibility to transcriptional machinery. Dysregulation of KDM5B has been implicated in various cancers, making it a focus of research in cancer biology and epigenetics. Studies have shown that KDM5B can act as an oncogene, promoting tumorigenesis through the modulation of gene expression involved in cell proliferation and survival. Furthermore, KDM5B's role in stem cell maintenance and differentiation adds complexity to its function, highlighting its significance in developmental biology. Recent advancements in structural biology and biochemical assays have facilitated deeper insights into the functional mechanisms of KDM5B, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting this enzyme in cancer treatment. Understanding the interactions and regulatory pathways involving KDM5B not only enhances our knowledge of epigenetic modulation but also opens avenues for innovative approaches in combating diseases characterized by epigenetic abnormalities. Overall, KDM5B serves as a critical molecule in the intricate balance of gene expression, underlining its importance in both normal physiology and disease contexts.
