Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KDELR3, a vital member of the KDEL receptor family, plays a significant role in the intracellular transport and localization of proteins, particularly in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). These receptors are known for their crucial function in recognizing and retrieving ER-resident proteins that have escaped to the Golgi apparatus, thus ensuring proper cellular function and homeostasis. The study of recombinant KDELR3 protein is essential for understanding its structure-function relationship, signaling pathways, and interactions with ligands and other cellular components. Recent research indicates that KDELR3 may also be involved in the regulation of protein quality control mechanisms and cellular stress responses, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions related to diseases that arise from protein misfolding and trafficking defects. With advances in recombinant DNA technology, producing KDELR3 in various expression systems facilitates the exploration of its biological functions and potential applications in drug development and biotechnology. Furthermore, understanding KDELR3’s role in cellular processes could provide insights into broader physiological implications, such as its impact on immune responses and development, thereby highlighting its significance in both basic and applied research.
