Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KBTBD6, a member of the KBTBD family of proteins, is recognized for its role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is crucial for protein degradation and regulation within cells. Research has identified KBTBD6 as a potential player in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and responses to stress. Its function is predominantly linked to the E3 ubiquitin ligase activity, which facilitates the tagging of substrates for proteasomal degradation. Recent studies have suggested that dysregulation of KBTBD6 may contribute to the pathogenesis of several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding KBTBD6's structure and function through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. This knowledge is essential for elucidating its role in health and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that leverage KBTBD6's function in the ubiquitin-mediated degradation pathway.
