稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the GABRA2 recombinant protein has garnered significant attention in the fields of neurobiology and pharmacology due to its critical role in the functioning of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor system. GABRA2 encodes the alpha-2 subunit of the GABAA receptor, which is pivotal in mediating inhibitory neurotransmission in the central nervous system. Dysregulation of GABAergic signaling has been implicated in various neuropsychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, and epilepsy. Understanding the structure and function of GABRA2 offers insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions. Researchers have undertaken the recombinant expression of GABRA2 to produce the protein in a controlled environment, enabling detailed studies of its biochemical properties, pharmacological interactions, and potential as a therapeutic target. This involves using techniques such as site-directed mutagenesis and crystallography to elucidate the protein's structure-function relationship. Moreover, the recombinant GABRA2 protein can serve as a crucial tool for drug screening assays, particularly in the search for novel anxiolytic and anticonvulsant drugs. As a result, advancements in recombinant technology and structural biology continue to facilitate our understanding of GABRA2, thereby contributing to the development of new interventions for GABA-related disorders and enhancing our grasp of the intricate neural pathways involved in stress and mood regulation.
