Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KATNAL2 is a member of the Katanin family of proteins, known for their role in microtubule severing and remodeling, which are crucial processes in cellular dynamics, including cell division and intracellular transport. Research on KATNAL2 has gained prominence due to its involvement in neuronal function and development. Mutations or dysregulation of KATNAL2 have been implicated in various neurodevelopmental disorders, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Understanding the structure and function of KATNAL2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its mechanisms and interactions within the cell. These studies often involve expressing the KATNAL2 protein in suitable systems, purifying it, and characterizing its biochemical properties. This research aims to elucidate the protein's role in microtubule dynamics and its impact on neuronal health, with potential implications for understanding the pathophysiology of neurological diseases. By investigating KATNAL2's function in a controlled environment, scientists hope to uncover potential biomarkers for neurodevelopmental disorders and develop strategies for novel treatments.
