Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IHH (Indian Hedgehog) is a key signaling molecule involved in various developmental processes, including cartilage and bone formation, as well as the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. Initially identified as a crucial component of the Hedgehog signaling pathway, IHH plays a significant role in embryonic development and the maintenance of tissue homeostasis in adults. Abnormalities in IHH signaling have been linked to several pathologies, such as cancer, skeletal dysplasias, and degenerative diseases. Research into the recombinant production of IHH protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications and its importance in understanding developmental biology. The recombinant version of IHH enables researchers to explore its structure-function relationships, elucidate its molecular mechanisms, and develop targeted treatments for IHH-related disorders. Additionally, the ability to produce IHH in sufficient quantities allows for high-throughput screening of small molecules that can modulate its activity, offering possibilities for novel drug discovery. Thus, the study of recombinant IHH protein is pivotal not only for advancing our understanding of Hedgehog signaling but also for addressing related diseases through innovative therapeutic strategies.
